All Care Pest and Termite Control now have access to new products that have just been launched onto the market for the control of rodents and cockroaches. This is great timing as cockroach and rodent activity increases greatly as we move into the warmer months on the Gold Coast.
A cockroach dusting powder which has been specially developed the treatment of German cockroaches in commercial and domestic kitchens has been developed which is magnetised. It has been discovered that cockroaches naturally attract magnetised particles which cling to their bodies and allow greater pickup of the active ingredient which is the product.
The active ingredient in the product used by All Care Pest and Termite Control is fipronil which is regarded as one of the most reliable active ingredient for the eradication of the German cockroach. German cockroaches have a very high breeding cycle and due to their capacity to produce large populations of offspring they can quickly develop resistance to insecticides that once were highly effective in controlling them.
The use of magnetised dusting powder makes a cockroach is even more susceptible to the fipronil based active ingredient as they are brought into greater contact with it because of its formulation.
Also released onto the market as a rodent bait which is manufactured in block form that is a combination of active ingredients that provides even greater effectiveness when they are consumed by rats and mice. In addition, this product has fluorescent tracking which can also be used by competent pest control technicians in determining the level of infestation at any given time.
As such these new rodent baits is three senses to attract rats and mice including sight, smell and taste.
